3/5 – Permission to do Less

Self love begs for self-made breaks.

Permission

to do less,

or do something less than fully,

and knowing it

and you

are enough.

  2. This is a simple yet profound poem. I sliced about slowing down today, and it feels like maybe I need to carve out some time for myself today. I really love the message. Thank you.

I think slowing down, and time for you, go hand in hand. Our culture seems to count Netflix as time to yourself and I say, no way! haha. The best part is, the more I practice letting go the less I feel I need to do. My expectations are so often just a *little* (aka waaay) too high. Can you relate?! Good luck 🙂

I want to walk away from my War and Peace to-do list I want to go to that place right now and sit quietly in the sunshine.

I LOVE this poem. It’s exactly what I need to see in my life right now. That it’s okay to say no to things and take care of me. Thank you for this today!

Good choice of photos. Can I have permission to do less too?

My grandmother’s way of saying this was to give something “a lick and a promise.” Your spare form matches the permission to be more spare with our time and efforts.
